Popular Science Lecture on the Ukrainian Army Day

A popular science lecture on the Day of the Ukrainian Army “Ukrainian Haidamaks in Luhansk Region. 1918” was held at the university.

A popular science report by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology Oleksandr Naboka was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, dedicated to the little-known pages of the events of the national liberation revolution of 1917-1921 in the territory of Luhansk Region. The speaker focused on the activities of the Ukrainian Haidamak detachments (units of the Zaporizhzhia Corps of the UNR Army), which, in the conditions of the formation of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the aggravation of the military-political situation in Eastern Ukraine, played an important role in protecting statehood in the region.
