Visit to the Veterans Support Center

On December 8, a significant event took place that united students and teachers of the ER IMIT with the defenders of our Motherland at the Veterans Support Center.

As part of the patriotic and educational event, our institute visited the Veterans Support Center, where a warm and frank meeting with war veterans took place.

Students and teachers had a unique opportunity to hear stories and discuss current issues with people who stood in defense of our state.

The meeting was attended by honored guests representing organizations that care about veterans’ affairs:

• Bohdan Ihorovych Yakovenko – Head of the Veterans’ Affairs Department.
• Roman Oleksiiovych Dutnyk – Deputy Head of the NGO “Defender of the State”.
• Liudmyla Ivanivna Dashchenko  – Specialist of the Veterans’ Affairs Department.

The speakers shared their experience, talked about the importance of supporting veterans and outlined the role of every citizen in shaping a worthy future. The participants of the meeting emphasized the need to preserve the memory of the exploits of our defenders and the active participation of young people in volunteer initiatives.

Such meetings are extremely important for the formation of national consciousness and patriotic spirit among students. We express our deep gratitude to our veterans for their courage, resilience and willingness to share their experience.
