Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference

The Head of the Department of Economics and Marketing took part in the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Trends in the Development of the Hospitality Industry.”

On November 13-14, 2025, at the invitation of the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business of the  Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture, Head of the Department of Economics and Marketing, Candidate of Economic Sciences Liudmyla HORBATIUK took part in one of the most powerful events of the university’s autumn – the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference: “Modern Trends in the Development of the Hospitality Industry”.

Topic of the scientific report: “Tourism Potential of Poltava Region”.

For two days, the conference participants delved into the key topics of the hospitality industry in Ukraine. The event program includes more than 40 reports on the following topics:

  • modern trends and strategies for the development of the hotel and restaurant business;
  • innovations in food and craft technologies for HoReCa;
  • tourism development in the face of global challenges and war;
  • economics and management in the field of hospitality;
  • educational practices and new approaches to training specialists;
  • local gastronomy as an element of identity and cultural diplomacy;
  • accessible tourism and inclusive solutions;
  • digitalization and smart technologies in the industry.

The conference brought together more than 300 participants from 58 educational institutions of Ukraine, as well as representatives of Poland, France, Great Britain, Austria and Hungary.

The conference participants presented more than 200 scientific works dedicated to the development of tourism, restaurant business, education and innovation.

A scientific event of this level created a unique environment for new partnerships, solutions and future projects.
