Online Event Dedicated to the Anniversary of ER IMIT

On December 1, the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies celebrates its anniversary.

The history of our Institute dates back to 1931, when the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics was founded. It became the foundation for training generations of teachers, scientists in the exact sciences. Through decades of challenges, reorganizations and relocations – from Luhansk to Starobilsk, Rubizhne, and now Myrhorod – the Institute has retained its mission: to nurture the intellectual elite and develop science.

In 2013, the faculty received a new name – the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies. And from 2023 – it officially became the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies. This status reflects not only academic depth, but also active scientific activity, participation in international projects and the introduction of modern IT solutions into the educational process.

The Institute is not only walls and names. These are teachers who inspire every day, students who strive to change the world, and graduates who are already creating the future. We are proud of everyone who is part of our history.

On this day, at an online event, teachers and students of not only our institute, but also Rubizhne Professional College gathered. Everyone immersed themselves in the history of the institute’s creation and received congratulations from the director Hennadii Mohylny and the heads of departments Yurii Kozub and Mykola Semenov.

May our Institute continue to be a space for development, discoveries and new achievements.
