A speech therapy office continues to operate at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, providing professional assistance to children with speech disorders.

This is a modern space where senior students studying in the specialty “Speech Therapy”, under the guidance of teachers of the Special Education Department, qualified specialists, conduct diagnostics, correction and development of speech in children of different ages.

The main areas of work of the office:

• Diagnosis of speech disorders – a comprehensive examination of the child’s speech and identification of individual needs.
• Correctional classes – special exercises and techniques for correcting sound pronunciation, developing vocabulary, improving communication skills.
• Consultations for parents – recommendations for further development of speech at home and cooperation with the child.
• Training of future speech therapists – on the basis of the office, students gain practical skills and experience working with children.
