Presentation of Student Tickets in Dolyna

In Dolyna, the presentation of student cards and the student initiation ceremony took place at our university.

On 28.11.25, a solemn event took place in the hotel and recreation complex “Sofia”, which is located in the foothills of the picturesque Carpathians in Dolyna – the presentation of student cards and the student initiation ceremony of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The event was attended by honored guests: Head of Dolyna City Council – Ivan Dyriv, Rector of LTSNU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine – Olena Karaman, First Vice-Rector of the University, Chairman of the Academic Council, Academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine – Vitalii Kurylo, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor – Yaroslava Yurkiv, Deputy Mayors – Ivan Pastukh, Yaroslav Bakalaryar, Head of the Education Department of the Dolyna City Council – Ihor Saiko, Head of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Vygodsk Village Council – Vitaliy Oliynyk, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Maryna Yepikhina, Director of the Center for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers of the Dolyna City Council – Svitlana Owl, specialists of the Tetiana and Omelyan Antonovich Local History Museum “Boykivshchyna”, the central public library, teachers of educational and scientific institutes: pedagogy and psychology, philology and journalism, director, secretaries, teachers of Lysychansk and Kadiyivka Pedagogical Professional Colleges, and students.

The event was attended by the Dolyna Council of IDPs – the head of the Severodonetsk district council of the Luhansk region Volodymyr Prokopenko, the head of the public volunteer organization “Civic Corps” in the Luhansk region, the director of the Dolyna Museum “Residence of Angels” – Olena Stetsenko.

A minute of silence was observed to honor the memory of the defenders: students, graduates, and university teachers who gave their lives for the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine.

The right to solemnly read the student oath was granted to the second master’s students majoring in “Psychology” Yulia Matskiv and the first bachelor’s student majoring in “Professional Education (Transport)” Roman Romaniuk.

The Chairman of the Dolyna City Council, the rector of the university presented the first-year students with student ID cards. The university anthem was played for everyone.

Father Ruslan of the St. Nicholas Church of the Dolyna Orthodox Church of Ukraine read a prayer that will help our students begin their journey with God’s blessing, strength and faith in the future.

Guests, teachers, and students watched a film about the educational activities of the university.

Teachers and students of the Dolyna Myroslav Antonovych Music School congratulated the first-year students and guests on the holiday.

Angelina Kholozinska and Arsen Torgovetsky performed the Ukrainian songs “Leleka”, “Pidkruchu ya chornii vusa”.

Despite the war, difficulties and trials, the university’s teaching staff contributes to the development of the education system in the Carpathian region, continuing to train specialists in various specialties. The university opened new buildings in the city of Dolyna for the training of students.
