Participation in the International Scientific Conference

Anton Bader, Acting Director of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, took part in the 10th International Scientific Conference “Political Parties and Elections: Ukrainian and World Practices” (in memory of Yurii Shveda).

On November 29, Acting Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Anton Bader, took part in the 10th International Scientific Conference “Political Parties and Elections: Ukrainian and World Practices” (in memory of Yurii Shveda), which was held at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

This year’s scientific forum was dedicated to the topic “Political institutions and institutional interactions during and after the war: Ukrainian, European and global dimensions” and brought together researchers from Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Israel and other countries.

Anton Bader presented a report on the topic “Critical thinking of citizens and the functioning of political systems of different types”. The speech examined the basic socio-political conditions for the formation of critical thinking of citizens under different political systems.

The researcher focused on the identified correlation between the distance from the center of the modern world-system, the standard of living of the population, the political organization of the state and the presence or absence of basic socio-political conditions for the formation of critical thinking of citizens.
