A lecture-dialogue “A Woman in Safety: The Right to Protection and Respect” was held at the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU.

On November 28, as part of the All-Ukrainian campaign “16 Days Against Violence”, an important lecture-dialogue “A Woman in Safety: The Right to Protection and Respect” was held at the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU. The event was dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

During the event, an active discussion arose between students and teachers. The participants discussed together:

• How to recognize forms of violence in everyday life;
• Why it is important not to keep the problem silent;
• How to help yourself and others in difficult situations.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of supporting women and girls, who most often become victims of violence.

The lecture turned into a frank conversation, where everyone could express their opinion. The stories shared by students were of particular value, emphasizing the relevance of this problem.

This dialogue showed: only through joint efforts can we create an environment in which every girl and woman will feel safe.
