Virtual Mobility within the Erasmus+ Programme

As part of the Erasmus+ Virtual Mobility project “Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Mediation) / ArtNoConflict”, students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the international online course “The Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Mediation)”.

As part of the Erasmus+ Virtual Mobility project “Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Mediation) / ArtNoConflict”, students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the international online course “The Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Mediation)”, which was held from 17 October to 19 November 2025.

The course participants included:Daria Bondar, a student of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in the study programme “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”;Olena Zakharchenko, Kateryna Lichman, Anatolii Pyroh, students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in the study programme “Social Work”;Vsevolod Danylchuk, a student of the third (educational and scientific) level in the study programme “Educational Sciences”.

The course programme focused on developing practical competencies in effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution. The training included online workshops, facilitation sessions, and interactive activities designed and delivered by an international team of mediators from the Netherlands, Lithuania, Georgia, and Ukraine. The classes were conducted in English, as the participants represented different countries, creating a genuinely multicultural learning environment.

Throughout the course, participants gained access to modern European practices in negotiation and mediation aimed at strengthening democratic culture, developing intercultural competence, and fostering objective approaches to resolving conflict situations. This format enabled the students not only to master key mediation techniques but also to build a wide network of international contacts – an important component of professional growth for contemporary specialists.
