Mine Safety: Knowledge That Saves Lives

On November 19, an information event dedicated to mine and explosive safety rules was held at the Starobilsk Professional College of LTSNU. 

The students had the opportunity to talk with the chief inspector of department No. 1 of the Lubny Regional Department of the State Emergency Service of the Poltava region, senior lieutenant of the civil defense service Oleksandr Oliinyk, and the inspector of the Educational Security Service sector of the Lubny Regional Department of the Main Police Department of the Poltava region Natalia Husakovska. The specialists explained which objects can pose an explosive hazard, how to act correctly in case of their detection, and what categorical prohibitions exist in such situations.

The participants of the meeting reviewed illustrative materials, actively asked questions, and received practical recommendations on safe behavior.

Such educational events increase the level of awareness of young people and contribute to the formation of a responsible attitude to their own safety, because the knowledge gained can save lives.
