The Institute of Arts attended the integratively inclusive meeting of creative youth Docudays UA – 2025.

On November 18, the Educational and Research Institute of Arts of LTSNU traditionally became a partner of the 22nd Traveling Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA.

An integrative inclusive meeting of creative youth of the National Youth Institute and the NGO “Perevaga +” took place in the walls of the Library-branch 4 – Central Library of Poltava MTG, where a screening of Antonio Lukich’s film “How were my summer holidays?” took place. You may know the director from such films as “My thoughts are quiet” and “Luxembourg, Luxembourg”.

The documentary film “How were my summer holidays?” is children’s voices from different parts of Ukraine sharing how their summer went. The director became interested in how teenagers in modern Ukraine spent their summer? We are used to hearing stories about “vacation at sea”, “bicycle rides” and “sports victories”. But what will teenagers in modern Ukraine tell?

And it was this question that sparked the audience’s discussion. They shared their experiences, the conditions in which their youth was spent, what worries them, how they cope with anxieties.

This meeting once again showed that yes – we are all different, but united by common problems, goals, desires – the desire to be happy.
