Career Orientation Events in Myrhorod Community

On November 14, the Marketing Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University launched a series of career orientation meetings in the Myrhorod community.

Before starting work with schoolchildren, the university representatives visited the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Myrhorod City Council, where they met with the head of the department, Tetiana Mykolaivna KOLYBELNIK. She provided written permission to conduct career guidance events in the community, and in response, the employees of LTSNU handed over an official letter of gratitude for the support and fruitful cooperation from the university’s rector, Olena KARAMAN.

After that, the Marketing Department held meetings with students of the Petrivtsi Gymnasium of the Myrhorod City Council and the Supporting Educational Institution “Trudolyubivska Gymnasium”. During the events, the 10-11th grade pupils learned about the conditions for participation in the All-Ukrainian Marathon of Professionally Oriented Competitions “I Choose My Future”, were introduced to its three areas — socio-humanitarian, economic-technological and natural, — and explained how everyone can demonstrate their abilities.

Representatives of LTSNU spoke in detail about the university’s educational and scientific institutes, their specialties and opportunities for applicants. They especially emphasized the advantages of participating in the Marathon for educational institutions, students and their leaders: certificates, awards, prizes, recognition from secondary education institutions and vouchers for a discount on tuition for the winners. Students actively joined the conversation, asked questions about the conditions of the competition and the prospects for admission, receiving comprehensive answers.

The meetings were meaningful, active and in a warm atmosphere. Representatives of LTSNU express special gratitude to the leadership of the Petrivtsi Gymnasium for the sincere hospitality and attention they showed.

Career guidance work continues, because Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University confidently supports young people on the path to their own professional future – for the sake of a stronger, educated and invincible Ukraine.
