Graduation at the Faculty of Foreign Languages

The Faculty of Foreign Languages celebrated the completion of the week of state examinations and master’s theses defense.

The week of state examinations and defense of master’s works ended successfully at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. On June 13 the event “Graduation 2016” took place at the Faculty. “Heroes of the Day”, graduates shone with joy and excitement of the end of such an important stage of their lives.

The Dean of the Faculty Ivan Mikhailovych Karpenko, Head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology Shehavtsova Svitlana Oleksandrivna, the Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation Perova Svitlana Vyacheslavivna and the Spanish teacher Schabas Oksana Anatoliivna made parting words to graduates.

Karpenko Ivan Mikhailovych warmly congratulated the students on graduation, thanked them for their loyalty to their Alma mater: «Now there are about 1 billion pupils, and students make up the better part of this “golden billion”. I am pleased to know that our students are among those selected. Thank you for choosing our university five years ago. We all have to work, work creatively and rely on our own strength. Success comes to those who are not just dream of a beautiful life, but works on useful. Do not catch the butterflies. You have to plant a garden, and butterflies will fly there themselves. Happiness, health and good luck in the new life”.

Students also took part in congratulations. The performances on the scene showed their creative talents, opened over the years. At the end of the event the solemn anthem of our university sounded.
