“Barriers and Opportunities: Transformation of the Modern Educational Space”
30.10.2025
On October 28, teachers of the Pedagogy Department, as part of their social and humanitarian work, held an online event “Barriers and Opportunities: Transformation of the Modern Educational Space” for the 2nd-year students majoring in “Therapy and Rehabilitation.”
The online event was aimed at discussing current issues of accessibility and the transformation of the modern educational space. During the event, a number of conceptually significant issues were considered: the essence and structure of accessibility in the educational environment; socio-psychological barriers in the interaction of subjects of the educational process; innovative approaches to the formation of an inclusive educational space; the role of a future physical therapy specialist in the implementation of the principles of humanization, accessibility and partnership in the educational and rehabilitation spheres.
Students had the opportunity to analyze their own experience, identify internal and external barriers to professional development, and discuss ways to overcome them. The event contributed to the formation of a conscious attitude to the principles of accessibility, the development of empathy, tolerance and social responsibility – as integral components of the professional competence of a modern physical therapist.
