III International Scientific and Practical Conference of Vice-Rectors

On October 23–26, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference of Vice-Rectors for Scientific Work of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine “European Integration of Ukrainian Science: Problems and Challenges” was held in the city of Uzhhorod.
The event was organized by Uzhhorod National University and the Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as well as more than 60 vice-rectors of higher education institutions of Ukraine.
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented at the forum by the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yaroslava YURKIV.
During the conference, topical issues of the development of modern science and education were discussed:
- creation of university libraries of the future;
- improvement of the system of training doctors of philosophy;
- new approaches to accreditation of educational programs;
- application of artificial intelligence in education and science;
- participation of Ukrainian scientists in European grant programs;
- activities of international scientific consortia;
- information technologies of security direction.
During the scientific discussions, the participants identified key areas of development of domestic science in the conditions of war and post-war reconstruction, and also outlined the prospects for the integration of Ukrainian research into the European scientific space.
