The seminar for library methodists

The Library and Information Center “Window on America” held a seminar for the library methodists.

The seminar “Effective Work of the Library in a Period of Change and Transformation of Society” took place on June 16, 2016. It was held by Luhansk A.M. Gorky Regional Universal Scientific Library together with Luhansk Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Library Association.

The seminar was attended by heads of methodological departments and leading specialists of 15 regional central public libraries of Luhansk region, experts of the Scientific Library of LTSNU, teachers of the College of Luhansk State Academy of Culture and Arts.

During the seminar, they discussed the project activities of libraries, library effective advertising and problems of library statistics. The employees of the Luhansk Regional Universal Scientific Library Svitlana Moiseeva, Oleksandr Bukreev gave advice to the librarians. Olena Bashun, Ph.D., chief editor of “The Library Forum of Ukraine: History, Theory and Practice” provided comprehensive information on fundraising activities of libraries.
