Information Session on International Education and Grant Opportunities

On October 28, an outreach information session dedicated to international academic mobility and grant opportunities for students and academic staff of the Myrhorod location was conducted by Dr. Iryna V. Myhovych, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in the field of internationalisation and international education, and Liudmyla A. Ovcharova, Head of the International Education Sector of the International Relations Office.

On October 28, 2025, an outreach information session on international educational opportunities was held in the city of Myrhorod for students and academic staff of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business and Management and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. The event was attended by the leadership of these structural units, including: Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business and Management Valerii KHMEL, Vice-Director in charge of Academic Affairs Olena BOIKO, Vice-Director in charge of Social and Humanitarian Affairs Yuliia BUTENKO, Vice-Director in charge of Academic Affairs of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Agricultural Sciences Olha HUBSKA, and Vice-Director in charge of Social and Humanitarian Affairs Nataliia PAVLOVA, as well as academic staff, administrative personnel, and students of both institutes.

During the information session, Dr. Iryna V. Myhovych presented the key regulatory documents that govern international activities and academic mobility at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and define the mechanisms for student and staff participation in international programmes. Information was provided about foreign language learning opportunities at the Institute of International Education, preparation programmes for international language examinations, and internationally recognised certificates (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English, TestDaF). Special attention was given to a comprehensive overview of high-reputation international programmes such as Erasmus+, Fulbright, DAAD, Mevlana Exchange Program, Global UGRAD Program, among others, which offer opportunities for study, internships, and professional development abroad. Practical guidance was provided regarding the application process, language requirements, and CV preparation.

At the end of the session, students and academic staff actively engaged in the discussion, asked questions, and demonstrated strong interest in international opportunities, which contributed to a lively and constructive dialogue. The information session became an important step in strengthening the integration of students and academic staff of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business and Management and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Agricultural Sciences into the international educational space.
