Bachelor of Journalism – Winner of the All-Ukrainian Competition!

On October 24, 2025, the State University of Telecommunications (Odesa) hosted the official announcement of the results of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Bachelor’s Theses in the specialty С7 «Journalism». The competition brought together graduates from more than 20 higher education institutions across Ukraine, who presented around 60 qualification papers.
We are pleased to announce that Daniil Bystrukov, a graduate of the Department of Journalism, Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and Journalism of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, won second place! His bachelor’s thesis entitled «The Journalist’s Work in Creating a Video Interview» (academic supervisor – PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism Olena Kravchenko) received high praise from the jury for the depth of research and practical significance.
The bachelor’s project explores the conceptual foundations, stages of work, and technical specifics of producing a video interview-sketch with Dr. Oleksandr Naboka, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of History and Archaeology at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. In this interview, Dr. Naboka discusses the creation of the «New Chersonesus» museum complex as a tool of cultural legitimization of Crimea’s occupation.
