All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation

Students and teachers of Starobilsk Professional College participated in writing the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation.

On October 27, 2025, students and teachers of the Starobilsk Professional College took part in writing the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity – an event that has been uniting Ukrainians around the world with a love for their native language for over a quarter of a century. This year, the text entitled “We Must Live!” was written by Ukrainian writer Yevhenia Kuznetsova, and read by People’s Artist of Ukraine Natalia Sumska. The dictation is timed to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, which is an important event in the cultural life of Ukraine.

Radio dictation is not only a literacy test, but also a way to unite people in the pursuit of knowledge, love for the Ukrainian language and national unity. Students and teachers noted that participation in this event added inspiration and helped to test their own skills in writing in Ukrainian.

Classrooms were organized at the college where participants listened to and wrote dictations together. In parallel, students and teachers were able to participate in writing the dictation remotely, which allowed to reach a wider audience.

The organization of writing the dictation in a mixed format proved that modern education can combine traditional and digital approaches, creating comfortable conditions for learning and development. Such initiatives strengthen the sense of community and emphasize the importance of preserving the cultural and linguistic heritage of Ukraine.
