On October 10, the Pedagogy Department held a presentation and discussion the event “Your start in the master’s program: answers to the main questions.”
The meeting was attended by first-year master’s students majoring in A1 Educational Sciences and A3 Primary Education. During the discussion, Associate Professor of the Pedagogy Department Viktoriia Shvyrka outlined the key differences between the bachelor’s and master’s levels of study, emphasizing that the master’s degree implies a different level of educational maturity.
During the discussion and presentation of materials, key aspects of master’s training were highlighted: modern approaches to the educational process, project-based research format of study, the role of independent work, and the features of digitalization of education. Applicants were introduced to the possibilities of using electronic educational platforms (Moodle, Microsoft Teams), electronic library resources, as well as the communication system between teachers and master’s students.
It was noted that modern student life is not only an educational process, but also active participation in the public, cultural, volunteer and scientific activities of the university.
The meeting ended with a motivational message: success in the master’s program is based on a combination of independence, scientific curiosity, responsibility and partnership. Each master’s student has the opportunity to create their own educational trajectory, set goals and gradually implement them with the support of teachers, academic supervisors and tutors.
