Modern Possibilities of Digital Technologies

On October 10, an open event on the topic “Modern Possibilities of Digital Technologies” was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (Lubny).

The event was held as part of informal education for students of the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade. The initiator and organizer of the event was the Center for Information Technologies of LTSNU.

The head of the Center, Mykola Semenov, shared with the students the current trends of digital transformation, told how innovative tools are changing approaches to learning, creativity and professional development.

During the meeting, the students took a short journey into the world of technology – from the first computers to the digital universe of today, where artificial intelligence, cloud services and online education are becoming part of everyday life.

The most popular platforms for learning and teamwork were presented: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Canva, Notion, Trello.

Special attention was paid to the topic of informal education – in particular, the possibilities of online courses on Coursera, Prometheus, EdeRa, YouTube and LinkedIn Learning, which help students independently acquire new knowledge and develop career competencies.

In a live dialogue format, participants discussed how to effectively search for information on Google, formulate queries for artificial intelligence, and critically evaluate the data obtained.

The event took place in a friendly, inspiring atmosphere, gave students new ideas for self-development, and confirmed that informal education is a powerful tool for forming a modern specialist who is able to think flexibly, act creatively, and confidently step into the digital future.
