Career Development Center at the Rehabilitation Department

A meaningful meeting was held at the Rehabilitation Department of the Lubny City Council, which was held by the head of the Career Development Center of LTSNU, Larysa Kochura, and the psychologist Daryna Korniachenko.

The event brought together medical department employees, as well as families of Ukrainian defenders undergoing rehabilitation and recovery after service.

During the conversation, the participants discussed important aspects of psychological recovery, career growth, and professional fulfillment.

Particular attention was paid to the educational opportunities offered by Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University — in particular, training, retraining, and career skills development programs for veterans and their family members.

A representative of the Career Development Center presented:

  • consulting services on choosing a professional path;
  • advanced training programs and short training courses;
  • opportunities for adult education, including distance learning;
  • mentoring support for those seeking to start a new career after service.

Such meetings are not only part of the social mission of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, but also a real step towards expanding cooperation between the university, communities, and medical institutions.

They contribute to the psychological recovery, social adaptation and professional realization of those who suffered from the war.

“It is important for us not just to talk about education, but to help people find new opportunities, feel support and believe in their own strengths,” said the head of the Career Development Center, Larysa Kochura.

The university continues to demonstrate that education is a space of recovery, support and new opportunities for everyone.
