Lifehacks for Writing a Dissertation from a Professor

Students of the Department of Economics and Marketing learned about lifehacks for writing a dissertation from a professor.

At the initiative of the head of the Department of Economics and Marketing, PhD in Economics, Liudmyla Horbatiuk, and the support of the guarantor of the educational and scientific program 051 Economics, PhD in Economics, Professor Oleksandra Liashenko, candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 051 Economics on September 25, 2025 attended a guest lecture: “Methodology and organization of dissertation preparation: typical mistakes and life hacks”. The event was organized by the Management Department of the Poltava University of Economics and Trade.

Speaker: Mykola Zos-Kior, PhD in Economics, Professor of the Department of Management named after I.A. Markina, Poltava State Agrarian University.

The event brought together more than 120 participants from various universities of Ukraine. For PhD candidates of different years of study, it was useful to learn advice from an experienced scientist on how to avoid typical mistakes when preparing a dissertation, how to keep the research goal in focus, and adhere to the principles of open science.
