Participation in the Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum

Representatives of our university participated in the Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum (UQAF – 2025), which took place on September 17–18, 2025 at Lutsk National University.

The event, organized by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA), brought together representatives of higher education institutions and experts from the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education from all over the country to discuss modern approaches to ensuring and improving the quality of educational programs.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented at the forum by: Margarita Kravchenko – Head of the Department of Quality Management of Educational Activities, Associate Professor; Maksym Saibekov – Head of the Department of Audiovisual Art, responsible for the accreditation and licensing sector of the university; Nataliia Matsai – Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor, guarantor of the educational program “Ecology”; Oleksandra Liashenko – Professor, guarantor of the educational and scientific program “Economics”.

Among the key topics discussed during the forum: establishing a systematic dialogue between higher education institutions, employers and local authorities to align educational programs with the needs of the region and the labor market; development of dual education and the need to create regulations for its implementation; organization of high-quality internship programs for applicants and internships for teachers; updating higher education standards and the important role of guarantors of educational programs in public discussions; academic integrity and new tools for detecting artificial intelligence in academic texts; the influence of education applicants on improving the quality of educational programs.

Participation of representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in the forum will contribute to the improvement of internal mechanisms for ensuring the quality of education and the introduction of best practices in the activities of the university.
