Participation in the International Conference

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management participated in the International Conference.

On September 23, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategic Management of the Agri-Food Sector in the Conditions of Economic Globalization: Security, Innovation, Leadership” was held at the Poltava State Agrarian University.

The topic of the conference is extremely relevant for Ukraine. In conditions of war, food chain security, innovation and leadership become key factors in the development of the industry. The event brought together scientists, practitioners, scientific and pedagogical workers and students from different parts of Ukraine and the world, uniting them around important challenges and prospects for the development of the agri-food sector.

The participants of the conference from our university were Viktoriia BORYSENKO, a 3rd year first (bachelor) level student of the Economics department and Veronika KUKOVIAKINA, a 2nd year first (bachelor) level student of the Marketing Department. Viktoriia presented a report on the topic: “Agritech and digitalization as key drivers of the Ukrainian agri-industrial complex to the European market in conditions of war”.

Scientific advisor was Candidate of Economic Sciences, Head of the Department of Economics and Marketing Liudmyla HORBATIUK. In her speech, the young scientist emphasized that digital and agro technologies are not just a trend, but a necessary condition for the competitiveness of the agricultural sector of Ukraine in the process of European integration. The participation of the HEI in the scientific event contributed to the expansion of scientific horizons and familiarization with modern approaches to strategic management in the agri-food sector.
