“Diplomacy of War”
19.9.2025
On September 17, teachers of the Department of Political Science and International Relations took part in the presentation of the textbook “Diplomacy of War” – the first hybrid format Arabic language edition in Ukraine.
The manual combines a printed book with an interactive online course, supplemented by artificial intelligence tools.
The presentation took place at the Media Center of the General Directorate for Servicing Foreign Missions (GDIP) and brought together teachers, diplomats, and representatives of scientific and educational institutions.
The participants of the event emphasized that diplomacy, combined with culture, language, and history, is one of the key tools of foreign policy. At the same time, effective language learning and the development of intercultural communication are important for training specialists capable of working in a global environment.
Particular attention was paid to the interactive online course, which is part of the manual. It allows students and practitioners to master the material in a convenient format, use digital resources, receive instant feedback, and integrate the latest artificial intelligence technologies into the learning process.
The co-authors of the publication were the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates Oleksandr Balanutsa, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait Olha Segeda and the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Anastasia Sushko. They not only made a significant contribution to the creation of the manual, but also defend the diplomatic front of Ukraine every day. These are truly patriotic people whose activities are an example of service to the state.
