LTSNU sincerely congratulates the lecturer of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of the ER IHCS, the legend of world powerlifting – Mykola Viktorovych Barannik, on a new significant victory!

In China, at the World Games, he demonstrated the power and strength of Ukraine, winning a bronze medal in the middleweight weight category!

His stunning results are impressive:

Squat — 345 kg
Bench press — 260 kg
Deadlift — 302.5 kg
Total — 105.39 points according to the IPF Formula!

This achievement is very important for Mykola Viktorovych, because it is the second World Games award after silver medal in Birmingham (2022).

Mykola Barannik confidently enters the cohort of the strongest people on the planet! His strength of spirit, professionalism, and unwavering faith in success inspire students, colleagues, and the entire sports community of Ukraine.
