College Entrance Exams

From July 29 to 31, entrance exams were held at the Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

From July 29 to July 31, 2025, the Professional College of LTSNU held entrance exams were held for applicants (based on 11 grades) who chose the direction of professional pre-higher education. According to the Admission Rules, this year’s admission campaign included an interview in the Ukrainian language and a creative competition, which includes the fulfillment of sports standards.

During the interview, applicants demonstrated their level of proficiency in the state language. The tasks were focused on testing:

• oral skills;
• the ability to logically and competently express thoughts;
• knowledge of the basic norms of the modern Ukrainian language.

The commission assessed not only the correctness of speech, but also the ability to reasonedly express one’s position.

The implementation of the creative competition, which consisted in performing certain physical exercises and standards, made it possible to assess:

• the general level of physical fitness of the applicant;
• coordination, endurance, and strength;
• motivation and desire for self-development in the sports direction.

The standards were implemented under the supervision of physical education teachers and members of the admissions committee.

Applicants who successfully passed the interview and creative competition received a recommendation for enrollment. The assessment was carried out transparently, in accordance with the established criteria and requirements for admission.
