Delegates from our university participated in the VIII Congress of the Ukrainian Student League.
From July 25 to 27, 2025, delegates from our university, Diana Sapa and Alona Kristiian, took part in the VIII Congress of the Ukrainian Student League, which was held in Kyiv. The event brought together representatives of more than 85 Ukrainian higher education institutions to discuss the development of student self-government, the transformation of higher education, and the role of youth in state building.
Among the key speakers were:
- People’s Deputy Roman Pavlovych Hryshchuk, who spoke instead of the Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovy and outlined the prospects for educational reform.
- Well-known volunteer Serhii Prytula, who emotionally spoke about the importance of the volunteer movement in the formation of a strong state.
- The third President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, who held an open Q&A session on the topic “The Role of Students in the Development of the Ukrainian State” and shared his vision of national progress and the importance of youth in this process.
A new version of the Statute was adopted, a new leadership was elected, and reports on the League’s activities were presented.
The Congress is not only about meetings and decisions, but also about ideas, motivation, and unity of youth for the sake of the future.
The participation of our OSS is not only a recognition of the activity of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University at the all-Ukrainian level, but also a powerful step towards the formation of a youth state community.
