Victory in the All-Ukrainian Competition

Teachers of the Social Pedagogy Department participated in an orientation meeting within the project “Youth Participation and Politics: Universities”.

On July 30, lecturers of the Social Pedagogy  Department, Natalia Ostrovska, Natalia Otroshchenko and Natalia Lytvynova, took part in an orientation meeting within the framework of the project “Youth Participation and Policy: Universities”.

Our university was among 9 higher education institutions that won the competition to create or update an elective discipline on youth policy.

The project “Youth Participation and Policy: Strengthening Youth Involvement, Governance, Budgeting and Development of Life Skills in Lviv, Volyn and Zakarpattia Oblasts” is implemented by the NGO “Youth Platform” with the assistance of UNICEF and with the financial support of the Government of Germany through the German state development bank KfW.

The purpose of participation is to update educational content, improve the level of teaching youth policy and form a new generation of specialists who will work with youth in difficult social conditions.

Ahead is a training seminar in Kyiv (August 5–8) for teachers who will implement the updated discipline in higher education institutions throughout Ukraine.
