Second Prize in a Written Chinese Translation Contest

Sofiia Nedohybchenko, a student of the ER IPJ, took part in the Written Translation Contest organized by the Confucius Institute at Kyiv National Linguistic University and won second prize.

A second-year student of the educational program “Language and Literature (Chinese, English)”, Sofiia earned second place in the All-Ukrainian Written Chinese Translation Contest organized by the Confucius Institute to mark the United Nations Chinese Language Day.

The competition brought together talented Chinese language learners from educational institutions across Ukraine. In the Intermediate Level category (HSK 3–4), Sofiia showcased her translation skills and received second prize. Her achievement is a testament to her strong linguistic preparation, motivation, and deep love for the Chinese language and the art of translation.
