Successes in Sinology: Student of LTSNU Wins Competition and Improves His Qualifications

Congratulations to Vsevolod Danylchuk, a student of the Department of Literary Studies, Eastern Philology and Translation, on winning first place in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Chinese Language Experts among schoolchildren and students of higher education institutions.
Congratulations to Vsevolod Danylchuk, a first-level higher education student majoring in 035.065 “Philology. Eastern Languages and Literatures (including translation), first – Chinese. Language and Literature (Chinese, English)” at the Department of Literary Studies, Eastern Philology and Translation of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University on winning first place in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Chinese Language Experts among schoolchildren and students of higher education institutions (translation direction) on the occasion of the celebration of World Chinese Language Day at the UN by the Confucius Institute of the Kyiv National Linguistic University, in the category “Artistic translation of a Chinese-language prose work (intermediate level)”!
From 23 June to 27 June 2025, the Confucius Institute at KNU held a series of advanced training courses for Chinese language teachers. A series of lectures and discussions were held on topical issues of Chinese-Ukrainian translation, cultural interaction and teaching methods.
Vsevolod completed a professional development course in the field of knowledge 03 Humanities under the programme «Synological Studies in Synchrony and Diachrony» with a volume of 2 ECTS credits (60 hours).
The knowledge and practical skills he has acquired will serve as a solid foundation for his further professional development as a translator and researcher of Chinese language and culture. We sincerely wish Vsevolod further success and new achievements in his studies and translation practice!
