Meeting of the Specialized Academic Council

On July 25, 2025, a meeting of a one-time specialized council was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

A dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 011 – Educational and Pedagogical Sciences by Olha Olehivna Korinska on the topic: “Formation of the information culture of future translators in the process of professional training at universities” was submitted for consideration and defense.

The scientific advisor was Leonid Tsesarevych Vakhovskyi, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Social Work Department of LTSNU.

The council was headed by Svitlana Oleksandrivna Shekhavtsova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Pedagogy Department of LTSNU.

The opponents invited were – Viktoriia Viktorivna Vorozhbit-Horbatiuk, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Chief Research Fellow of the Department of Research on Criminal and Executive Law of the Academician V. V. Stashin Research Institute for the Study of Crime Problems of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine; Liliia Volodymyrivna Ruskulis, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Ukrainian Language, Literature and Teaching Methods of V. O. Sukhomlynskyi Mykolaiv National University.

The reviewers were: Liudmyla Leonidivna Butenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Pedagogy Department of  LTSNU; Svitlana Viacheslavivna Perova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Literary Studies, Oriental Philology and Translation of LTSNU.

By the decision of the specialized academic council and the results of an open vote of the council members, the applicant was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
