From College to Institute: Building the Future Together!

The head of the Career Development Center of LTSNU, Larysa Kochura, and the marketing department specialist, Kamila Chernyshova, held an informational and practical event “From College to Institute: Building the Future Together”.
The informational and practical event, during the awarding of diplomas, was aimed at supporting college graduates in one of the most important stages of their lives – choosing a further educational path.
The purpose of the event:
- To help applicants navigate the admission campaign;
- To tell about the opportunities for admission to the institutes of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University;
- To provide practical advice on preparing documents and writing a motivation letter;
- To conduct a career guidance test to better understand their interests and potential.
What happened during the event:
A career guidance test was conducted to identify strengths and professional preferences;
Information materials were distributed with a list of institutes, specialties, forms of study and deadlines for the admission campaign;
They discussed during the event:
- How to choose a higher education institution: criteria and practical advice;
- How to write a motivation letter correctly: structure, typical mistakes, individual life hacks;
- Individual consultations were provided for those who already have specific questions or need personal advice.
Expected results:
- Participants will form a clear vision of the next steps in the admission campaign;
- Participants will understand how to determine priority educational institutions;
- Participants receive practical tools for successful admission and confidence in their decisions.
The Career Development Center offers applicants:
- Individual consultations throughout the admission campaign;
- Creation of a support group on Viber for prompt communication and answers to questions;
- Regular mailing of deadline reminders, useful links and current news.
