Psychoeducational Brochures for Working with Military Personnel
22.7.2025
The Veteran Development Center received psychoeducational brochures for working with military personnel, their families, and the educational community.
In modern conditions, it is extremely important to support the mental health and emotional well-being of all those who have gone through the crucible of war, as well as those who are nearby – educators, students, relatives of military personnel. It is for this purpose that the Center for Veteran Development of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University recently replenished its resources with new psychoeducational materials.
The textbooks and brochures were provided by the Coordination Center for Mental Health under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The publications are designed for a wide target audience: teachers and students of LTSNU, military personnel, veterans and their families who turn to the Center for Veteran Development for support.
Valuable materials for the university were received by Anton Nazmiiev – Assistant Professor of the Psychology Department, Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation of LTSNU. As a specialist who deals with issues of mental health and integration of veterans into civilian life on a daily basis, he emphasizes the extraordinary value of such manuals for practical work, individual counseling, training, and psychoeducation.
The materials received will become a powerful tool in the Center’s daily activities, contributing to a deeper understanding of the needs of veterans, reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, and forming a culture of caring for the psycho-emotional state of each member of our academic community.
We sincerely thank the Coordination Center for Mental Health at the Cabinet of Ministers for the valuable initiative, as well as Anton Nazmiiev for his active participation, resource mobilization, and constant concern for the psychosocial well-being of military and civilian personnel.
Together we build a strong, resilient, and cohesive community.
Together — to Victory, through knowledge, support, and humanity.
