Presentation of Serhii Martyniuk’s Book

On July 10, the presentation of the book by Serhii Martyniuk, a volunteer, officer, writer, true patriot and bearer of the spirit of resistance, took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

His book “Callsign “Writer”, or how the Irpinians tore apart the Russians” is not a work of fiction, but real war diaries written in the trenches, on the verge of life and death, in those days when Ukrainians defended Irpin — a city that became a symbol of invincibility and heroism.

The organizers of the event were: the Union of Officers of Ukraine, the NGO “Defense of the State” and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, on the basis of which the event was held.

The participants of the presentation saw before them a person with great life experience, sharp in his word, full of energy, drive, optimism in life and faith in the victory of Ukraine. Each of his answers, each memory is a testimony to the indomitable spirit of a Ukrainian who went through the war and did not lose his dignity, faith and strength to create a new reality.

A special moment of the end of the event was the mutual presentation of gifts.

On behalf of the university, Olena Leonidivna Karaman presented the author a symbolic souvenir of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University as a sign of sincere gratitude and respect. She thanked Serhii Martyniuk for his sincere story, for the strength of his spirit and for sharing the truth about the war not only as a fighter, but also as a man of his word.

In response, Serhii Martyniuk donated several copies of his books with personal autographs to the university library so that students could experience the reality of war through truthful literature.

Also during the event, Petro Vasylovych Vorona, on behalf of the NGO “Defense of the State”, presented a Certificate through Olena Karaman for the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of LTSNU, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Volodymyr Petrovych Moroz – for an active public position, a significant contribution to the national-patriotic education of the population of Poltava region, support of the veteran movement and unwavering devotion to the ideas of Ukrainian statehood.

After the meeting, all participants took a joint photo – as a symbol of unity, gratitude and indomitability of the spirit of our people.

This event became not just a literary event, but an act of memory, a testament to the strength of the Ukrainian spirit and honor, which sounds from every page of the book.

LTSNU sincerely thanks the author and everyone who joined this event. We are always open to the truth, to stories that change the world.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
