Results of the Academic Year at the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business

Traditionally, at the end of June, the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business summarizes the results of the academic year.

The 2024-2025 academic year was full of diverse and interesting events, most of which, unfortunately, took place online.

444 students majoring in 5 specialties studied at the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business. In January 2025, 77 applicants for the second (master’s) level of higher education successfully passed the final certification, in June – 57 applicants for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.

On March 20-21, 2025, the Department organized and held the IV International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Modern Science and Education: State, Problems, Prospects”. International support for the event was provided by partners from 8 countries of the world: Georgia, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Turkey, Switzerland and Ukraine. The conference was attended by 478 scientists, teachers, scientific and pedagogical workers and higher education students from 64 scientific and research institutions of Ukraine and 7 foreign countries. The collection of conference materials included 144 theses. We note the active participation in the preparation and holding of the conference of associate professors O.O. Karolop and V.O. Kolesnikova.
