Training for EP Guarantors and Teachers

On June 25, a training was held for EP guarantors and teachers who develop syllabuses, with a focus on the methodology for building a PNR and avoiding thematic duplication.
The training was held with the participation of the Department of Quality Management of Educational Activities of the University, namely: Acting Head of the Department – Margarita Vitaliievna Kravchenko and Leading Specialist of the Department, Head of the Accreditation and Licensing Sector – Maksym Hennadiiovych Saibekov.
During the training, the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Administration and Postgraduate Education, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor V.V. Zablotskyi provided information on the draft standard of higher education for the specialty D4 Public Administration and Administration, which was discussed at the terminology and methodological conference: “Basic Terminology “Public Administration”: World Experience and Ukrainian Practice”, which took place the day before with the participation of the National Agency for the Administration of Public Administration, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, universities and schools specializing in “Public Administration and Administration”. Employees of the Department of Quality Management of Educational Activities provided methodological advice on the development of syllabi and work programs. In addition, the main problematic issues that arise during accreditation and experts’ comments on the educational program “Territorial Administration and Local Self-Government” were discussed.
The head of the department, Professor T.V. Sych outlined the main shortcomings that are found in syllabi and work programs. The teachers of the department joined the discussion, discussing issues regarding the forms of final control, regulation of requirements for the recognition of non-formal education in syllabi, etc.
The event contributed to the search for optimal solutions to improve the quality of syllabi and work programs and educational activities in general.
