Memorandum of Cooperation

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Lubny district branch of the NGO “All-Ukrainian Organization Union of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine”.

On June 18, 2025, an important event took place in the field of social partnership and support for vulnerable categories of the population – Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Lubny district branch of the public organization “All-Ukrainian Organization of the Union of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine”.
The agreement was concluded between LTSNU represented by the rector Olena KARAMAN and the public organization represented by the head of the branch Tetiana HORDIENKO.

The Lubny district branch of “All-Ukrainian Organization of the Union of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine” is a community that unites persons with disabilities, veterans and internally displaced persons, defending their legitimate rights and interests in the social, educational, economic and legal spheres. The organization actively works to create a barrier-free environment, supports the development of education, employment, and also promotes the adaptation and integration into peaceful life of those who suffered from the war.

The purpose of signing the Memorandum is to strengthen joint efforts in providing quality support to persons with disabilities, veterans, IDPs and all those who need additional resources for recovery and development. The document provides for interaction in such areas as the provision of educational services, professional orientation, psychological rehabilitation, employment promotion, development and implementation of joint social and educational projects.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is always open to cooperation, does not stand aside from the problems of persons with disabilities, veterans and internally displaced persons and supports initiatives aimed at improving their lives, ensuring equal opportunities and access to quality education.

We hope that the new partnership will be the beginning of effective, long-term and productive cooperation to build a society of equal opportunities.
