Final Certification at the Professional College

The final certification of students of the Professional College of LTSNU majoring in “Design (Hairdressing and Decorative Cosmetics)” was held.

The academic year ended brightly, creatively and emotionally for the students majoring in “Design (Hairdressing and Decorative Cosmetics)”, who passed the final certification on June 12-13 – an important stage on the way to professional development.

The certification was comprehensive and took place in several formats: defense of qualification works (diploma projects); demonstration of practical skills in creating an image (makeup, hairstyle, manicure, style); theoretical assessment of the level of knowledge. All participants showed a high level of professional training, creativity, mastery of modern techniques and materials, as well as the ability to holistic visual thinking. The defense presented: creative women’s, children’s and men’s hairstyles with elements of modern modeling; makeup for photo shoots, shows, podiums and everyday looks.

The members of the certification committee paid particular attention to the combination of practical skills and a design approach, compliance with hygiene standards, work with the client, and presentation skills of the applicants. The certification commission is composed of leading teachers and specialists in the beauty industry: the head of the examination commission, Olha Volodymyrivna Vishchenko, candidate of pedagogical sciences, senior lecturer of the Brianka Professional College of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.

Members of the examination commission: candidate of philosophical sciences, associate professor, head of the design department of the Educational and Research Institute of Arts of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” – Olha Petrivna Kostiuk; teacher, college graduate, director of the beauty salon “STUDIO_EMPIRE_VALERIIA” (Prague, Czech Republic) – Valeria Volodymyrivna Kalinichenko.

The commission noted the high motivation of the students, independence in creating creative images, the ability to work with a real client, professional ethics and culture of communication. The final certification was not only a final test, but also a demonstration of achievements, talent and the inspiration that future stylists, makeup artists and hairdressers have invested in their work.
