Final Certification for the Specialty “Primary Education (Language and Literature (English))”

On June 9 and 10, the Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University held a final certification for students majoring in 013 “Primary Education (Language and Literature (English))” in a mixed format.
Some of the students took the assessment in person, in the college classroom, others remotely, using online platforms (Google Meet). This approach made it possible to ensure equal access to the final assessment for all students – regardless of their place of residence and circumstances caused by the war.
The form of the final assessment included:
- a comprehensive qualification exam in the specialty: pedagogy, teaching methods in primary school;
- an exam in the methodology of teaching English in primary school.
The focus of the assessment was:
- level of language training (English);
- mastery of teaching methods for younger students;
- ability to professionally adapt in the face of modern challenges;
- skills in using digital tools in learning.
Despite the difficult situation in the country, the students demonstrated a high level of responsibility, professional knowledge and readiness for practical work in the field of education. The college administration expresses its sincere gratitude to the teachers, practice leaders, and the examination committee for their professionalism, support for students, and high-quality organization of the final certification.
