World Championship Prizewinner

Oleksandr Dubovoi is among the prizewinners of the World Ultimate Strongman Championship 2025, held in Fulda, Germany.

During three days, the strongest athletes from 25 countries and 6 continents of the world fought for the title of the best strongman.

Representative of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports, Master of Sports of Ukraine of international class, was the member of the national team. 

Oleksandr Dubovoi, as part of the Ukrainian national team, won silver in the team event; and in the individual event, he won a bronze medal in the exercise “strongman pull” in the weight category up to 105 kg!

This is the result of extraordinary strength, endurance, professionalism and spirit of a true Ukrainian strongman.

We congratulate Oleksandr Volodymyrovych on a brilliant performance on the world stage!
