Final Certification of Bachelor’s Students at the ER ISHS

From June 10 to 13, the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of LTSNU held a final certification of bachelor’s students.

Students majoring in following specialties participated in the certification tests:

• 014 Secondary Education (History and Law);
• 032 History and Archaeology;
• 291 International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies;
• 052 Political Science;
• 054 Sociology.

The certification took place in the format of a comprehensive final assessment of the level of formation of the applicants’ professional competencies acquired by them throughout the entire period of study. The examination committees, which included leading teachers of the departments, highly appreciated the quality of the students’ training. The graduates’ answers were distinguished by a high level of scientific argumentation, logical consistency of presentation, ability to work with sources, regulatory legal acts and scientific literature. Many students demonstrated systemic thinking skills, showed the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practical situations, confidently expressed their own point of view and substantiated it.

It is especially pleasing to note that during the exams, the graduates demonstrated a deep awareness of current socio-political processes, as well as the ability to critically assess the challenges of the modern world. Such a level of academic maturity is a confirmation of the high quality of the educational process at the Institute and the responsibility of students for their own future.
