Signing of the Cooperation Agreement

On June 12, a significant event took place in the city of Ternopil – the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Ternopil Regional Employment Center.

Representatives of our university at the meeting were:

• Olena KARAMAN – rector of the university, corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Yaroslava YURKIV – vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Larysa DANILCHUK – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Social Pedagogy  Department. 

The agreement was concluded by the rector of LTSNU Olena KARAMAN and the director of Ternopil Central Employment Service Mykola HORODETSKYI.

This step opens up new horizons for the development of joint initiatives, in particular:

• conducting career guidance events, trainings and career meetings – both online and offline;
• organizing practical training for our students on the basis of Ternopil Central Employment Service and assistance in finding their first job;
• improving the skills of employment service specialists;
• popularization of professions relevant to the region;
• creation of educational programs that truly meet the needs of the modern labor market.

During the meeting, Olena Karaman paid special attention to the opportunities for military personnel, veterans, internally displaced persons and all those who seek to obtain a new education or change their professional direction.

The university is accredited in all modern specialties, in particular in the fields of education, healthcare, IT and digital technologies, psychology, social work, public administration, economics, design, agriculture.

Also, at the LTSNU, you can obtain working professions: electric and gas welder, cook, salesperson, tractor driver – with the possibility of retraining, advanced training, or training with a voucher – a state support tool that provides an opportunity to get a new profession or undergo retraining for free. This direction was given special attention.
