Development of the Digital Sphere and Modernization of the Educational Process at LTSNU

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University pays significant attention to the development of the digital sphere and modernization of the educational process.

One of the important areas of this work was the establishment of cooperation with the official representative office of Epson in Ukraine.

Epson is a world leader in the production of computer and office equipment. Its main areas of activity are the development of innovative solutions in the field of printing, projection systems, scanning, and industrial robotics. Epson is known for its environmentally friendly Heat-Free inkjet printing technologies, which provide energy savings, reduce CO₂ emissions, and minimize consumables. The company is also actively implementing advanced models of interactive projectors that create new opportunities for effective interaction during the educational process.

As part of the cooperation, samples of modern Epson equipment were transferred to the university for preliminary testing. Specialists of the Information Technology Center conducted comprehensive testing of the equipment in real conditions of the educational process. The tests included checking the functionality of printing equipment, projection equipment, its compatibility with the existing university infrastructure, as well as assessing energy consumption and ease of use.

According to the results of testing, Epson equipment demonstrated high quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and ease of maintenance, which allows it to be effectively integrated into the daily work of university departments.

The university’s cooperation with Epson allows it to introduce modern digital solutions into the educational process, improve the material and technical base, create comfortable conditions for students and teachers, and also ensure high-quality visualization of educational materials during lectures, seminars and scientific events. This approach is an important step in creating a modern digital university environment that meets international standards.

In the future, cooperation will contribute to the further digital transformation of the university and the training of specialists who have the skills to work with innovative technologies.
