World’s Strongest Nation 2025

Athletes of our university performed at the annual tournament “World’s Strongest Nation 2025”!

The annual team strongman competition “World’s Strongest Nation 2025” among athletes in the weight category up to 105 kg will start in the city of Fulda (Germany). Six teams from different countries of the world are participating in this year’s tournament, including the national team of Ukraine.

Our heroes have an ambitious goal — to win the fifth championship title and prove once again that the Ukrainian nation is the strongest in the world!

The Ukrainian team also includes representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University — the pride of Ukrainian sports and science:

Oleksandr DUBOVOI — Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU, Master of Sports of Ukraine of international class;

Valerii HAZAIEV — Lecturer of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of LTSNU, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine;

Vitalii HERASIMOV — graduate of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty “Secondary education. Physical culture”, Master of Sports of Ukraine of international class;

Yevhen NASTENKO — master’s student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports”, Master of Sports of Ukraine.
