Final Certification of the Specialty 024 Choreography

The Department of Musical Art and Choreography held a final certification of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.

On June 3 and 4, 2025, the Educational and Research Institute of Arts held a comprehensive final certification exam in the specialty 024 Choreography of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.

The exams were held in several stages: on the first day, applicants passed a practical exam from such educational components as “Theory and Methods of Teaching Classical Dance”, “Theory and Methods of Teaching Folk Stage Dance” and the theory of professional disciplines. The next day, applicants for higher education demonstrated the practical part from the educational components – “Theory and Methods of Teaching Ballroom Dance” and “Theory and Methods of Teaching Modern Styles and Directions”. The last stage of the comprehensive exam was a practical demonstration of production work from the educational discipline “The Art of the Choreographer”, where students presented their own production works.
The head of the examination commission is Tetiana Bezhreshnova, an excellent teacher of education of Ukraine, an honored worker of education of Ukraine, an artistic director of the folk art collective of the dance ensemble “Barvinok” of the municipal institution “Poltava Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity of the Poltava City Council”. The commission also included Eduard Golovashych (honored artist of Ukraine, associate professor, head of the department of musical art and choreography), Iryna Prodan (candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, director of the educational and scientific institute of arts), Lyudmila Sokil (candidate of pedagogical sciences, lecturer of the department of musical art and choreography), Tetiana Vilkhovchenko (senior lecturer of the department of musical art and choreography), Roman Gromtsev (lecturer of the department of musical art and choreography) and Olha Bilokon (lecturer of the department of musical art and choreography).

The examination committee was very pleased with the work of the applicants, especially when passing such components as “Theory and Methodology of Teaching Folk Stage Dance” and “Theory and Methodology of Teaching Classical Dance”
