Participation in setting a record

Athletes from the Luhansk region took part in setting a record.

The athletes carried the Ukrainian card layout, the weight of which amounted to 3 tons and 35 kg, at a distance of 25 meters. Strongmen from Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Melitopol, Carpathian, Kyiv and Poltava participated in setting a record.

The record was set within the action “Let’s Raise Ukraine Together”, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. The ATO participant Volodymyr Donos blew the starting and final whistles.

Three athletes from Luhansk region took part in setting a record. Among them were the teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU Oleksandr Dubovoy.

The basis of the action was the idea of the integrity and indivisibility of Ukraine with Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea, because among us there are athletes from these regions – real patriots of Ukraine. Athletes showed everyone that now we need to unite in order to raise and carry our free and independent Ukraine.

The record was officially registered by the representative of Ukrainian Book of Records Lana Vitrova.
