Opening of the Exhibition of Student Works

On June 5, the grand opening of the exhibition of student works of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts took place at the Mykola Yaroshenko Poltava Art Museum.

The exhibition presented the best creative achievements of students, made in various genres and techniques – from classical painting and graphics to ceramics, sculpture and decorative and applied arts. Each work is not only an example of high skill, but also a deep author’s understanding of modernity, national traditions and the inner world of a young artist.

The purpose of the exhibition is to popularize academic art education, demonstrate the creative potential of students and strengthen ties with the art community of Poltava and Ukraine as a whole. It is important to emphasize that the presented works are the result of hard work under the guidance of experienced mentors – teachers, who are recognized artists, members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

The Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts of LTSNU is famous not only for its deep academic traditions, but also for its modern, creative approach to the training of future artists. University students confidently declare themselves in the professional environment, win competitions, implement exhibition projects and represent their educational institution with dignity.

The opening of the exhibition once again proved that Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University educates not just specialists, but talented creators of Ukrainian culture and art.
