Pre-graduate Practice of Students of the Department of Health Care and Rehabilitation

A pre-graduate practice was held at the Department of Health Care and Rehabilitation.

From April 21 to May 30, 2025, 4th-year bachelor’s students majoring in 224 Medical Diagnostics and Treatment Technologies of the Department of Health Care and Rehabilitation of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports underwent pre-graduate practice at the bases of clinical diagnostic laboratories. The practice was supervised by the Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) O.Ye. Hranovskyi. 

During the practice, students actively participated in conducting laboratory research of various directions, in particular:

• biochemical,
• hematological,
• microbiological,
• serological.

The students demonstrated a high level of theoretical training and practical skills obtained during their studies at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Specialists of the laboratories where the practice took place noted the professionalism, responsibility and professional motivation of future medical diagnosticians.

As a result of the internship, the students deepened their professional competencies, strengthened their acquired knowledge and successfully implemented the programme learning outcomes of the educational programme “Technologies of Medical Diagnostics and Treatment”, which is the foundation for their further professional growth.

Pre-graduate internship became an important stage on the path to self-realization in the field of laboratory medicine, as it allowed them to feel the responsibility of real professional activity, work in a team of specialists and apply knowledge in a practical way.
